I would like to offer you a special outdoor experience that is based on my two interests: hiking and history.

We will start in Prague after lunch. I will pick you up in your hotel and we will go by bus to the region of South Bohemia (two hours drive). There we will walk (12 km aprox.) across the beautiful countryside and charming little villages to the medieval castle Helfenburk, that is more then 650 years old. There we will spend the night in tents in the grassy courtyard. The large castle has a well preserved tower from which is an amazing far distance view. In the evening we will bake sausages and potatoes on the bonfire and drink a local beer and wine :). I will give you lot of interesting information about the castle and the history of Bohemia in general.

The next day we will have a breakfast and then we will walk to the small town of Bavorov (7 km) where we will have a lunch. The bus from Bavorov will take us back to Prague. You will need just shoes suitable for walking and some warm clothes, because it might get chilly in the evening.

I will provide you with everything else (bags, sleeping bags, tents). The level of walking is easy.
